In this program, participants will be exposed to the various types of Malaysian cuisine based on the different athnic groups. Participants learn to prepare the selected types of Malaysian culinary plus gain exposure on the various types of the local ingredients used in the preparation. Participants will also experience real life local culture and etiquettes focusing on the food preparation and serving in Malaysia through the homestay at a local village. Participants will also be taught basic communication in Bahasa Melayu.
The main target of this program is the culinary students who are interested to learn about the Malaysian (Asian) cuisine while at the same time have the opportunity to experience the Malaysian culture.
